Our Lady of Hope is continuing our week long celebration of Catholic education, Catholic Schools Week.
Today, we celebrate our nation, law enforcement and frontline workers. Students may dress in red, white, blue or camo to show appreciation. Each floor of our building will celebrate a specific group with thank you cards, crafts and a service project.
Tomorrow, Thursday February 4, we celebrate vocations. Each classroom will hold a Religion Bee. Winners from each classroom will head to a final round held in the auditorium in front of the whole school. Students are invited to make a tshirt with a symbol representing their faith they can pair with their gym sweatpants. If they don’t create a tshirt, students are permitted to wear their gym uniforms. Each family will be sent a Catholic trivia quiz to complete together! Winners will receive a prize.
Friday, February 5, we celebrate our faculty and staff. Our teachers, administrators and staff give their all to Our Lady of Hope, and we cannot thank them enough! We end Catholic Schools week with a 12:00 noon dismissal on Friday.
