OSTC – Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit: Tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to a Scholarship Organization (BLOCS and Foundation for Catholic Education) and awarded to families based on income guidelines, failing public school district, and successful completion of a FACTS application. The failing public school list is published by the state each spring (newpa.com).

BLOCS – Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools is an independent charitable organization supported by individuals, companies, firms, and foundations in the five-county Philadelphia region. BLOCS is a state-approved Scholarship Organization.
Secretary’s Grant-Financial assistance for full-time Elementary school teachers and Principals working in a parish or regional AOP/OCE school setting. To be eligible, you must complete the Archdiocesan tuition assistance application found and apply directly using the Superintendent’s Grant Application (available in the fall, the deadline closes on January 1). The amount of the awards will depend on the number of applicants and the need of families. This grant only applies to elementary school tuition at one of the AOP/OCE elementary schools.
The Archbishop’s Grant-Financial assistance for full-time Employees of the Archdiocese in a parish, school, or AOP setting. This grant only applies to high school tuition at one of the 17 AOP high schools. You must complete the Archdiocesan tuition assistance application found at FACTS Grant and Aid and the Archbishop’s Grant Application found online at aopcatholicschools.org/financial-aid/
